
After spending more than15 years as an organizational and leadership development consultant, I have come to believe that the development of effective leadership is the cornerstone for transforming organizations for the better, and that the effectiveness of ones’ leadership is a product of the pattern of their interactions and the quality of their relationships. When people lead from a place of humility, openness, curiosity and compassion, they cultivate teams and organizations where others can learn, grow and contribute.
As a consultant, I appreciate the array of opportunities my work provides me. I have worked in a wide variety of industries and with all types of management populations, and have applied my passion, knowledge and skill in organizational development in many different ways.
My style is straight-forward - I work in partnership with my clients and build trust through open, honest and clear communication (infused with a little humour when appropriate). With a love of learning, I am always seeking to deepen my knowledge of organizational and leadership development. Currently I have a MBA with a focus on organizational development and a BA in Psychology. I am a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP), a certified professional coach, Level I and II certified SDI Relationship Awareness facilitator, and am in the final steps of becoming a certified Clear Leadership facilitator. As well I am certified in the use of a wide range of psychometric and organizational development tools.
On a volunteer basis, Claire actively supports the Minerva Foundation in advancing leadership opportunities for women by being a past and present co-curriculum developer, facilitator and master of ceremonies for Minerva’s Learning to Lead™ and Follow a Leader™ programs.
